While his career is certainly important to him and has a lot to do with who he is, the fact of the matter is, it is just as important to Victor Cozzone that he be able to demonstrate his appreciation for everything he has ever received in life. And he’s received a lot. During the ten years or so he ran his own company, All About Concrete, he employed as many as 28 people from the community. Together, they completed many residential and commercial projects. One reason he founded All About Concrete in Chester County was to make money and a name for himself, but he also wanted to make a contribution to the local economy, as he helped build out the county.
Of course, Victor Cozzone also has helped his community in many other ways, including some that are a little more direct. For example, he has volunteered as a baseball coach for teams in the Lionville Youth Baseball Association for many years, and he serves as a board member for the Mission to Educate Children with Autism at Downington High School, a worthy cause he has been deeply involved with for more than a decade. Victor has always been bound and determined to give back to his community in every way possible, and most would say he’s succeeded at that. Victor Cozzone’s company, All About Concrete, once won a national award for their work in decorative concrete. Victor is himself ACI certified, so he knows what he is doing. Back in 2000, All About Concrete was created in Chester County, Pennsylvania, and he ran ir for about a decade. The company employed 28 people at one point, including 6 staff and 22 workers in the field, all of whom he supervised.
Following his work with his own company, Victor Cozzone spent six years working as a financial advisor at the Pennsylvania offices of several major brokerage firms. From there, he guided individuals and companies to greater prosperity. They performed work in both the commercial and residential realms, so they almost literally had a hand in building the county. Of course, Victor Cozzone also believes that a person’s attitude has more to do with their success than any other aspect of their personality. Nowadays, Victor Cozzone gives back to his community because it makes him a better person and businessman. Raised in Pennsylvania, Victor Cozzone attended Downingtown High School in the 1980s. This was a time of great growth in America and it was then that Victor Cozzone decided to continue his education in finance and attended Winthrop University. The field of finance, as Victor Cozzone found out, was one that touched every industry. It allowed him to be able to take an interest in a wide variety of fields because ultimately, all industries needed to understand their finances in order to be successful.
After his education, Victor Cozzone started his first steps towards his career. He moved into management quickly and earned an award for Decorative Concrete. After that, he earned his ACI certification. All of this took place at the business that he was the owner of “All About Concrete.” Owning his own business taught him a lot about real world decisions regarding business and finance. He enjoyed the challenges that came with being a business owner and from there held other jobs that allowed him to continue his knowledge base. He held jobs at Raymond James as well as Morgan Stanley and Lowe’s Companies, Inc. respectively. At each of these businesses, Victor Cozzone was able to gain a deeper understanding of the business world. Now working as a Pro Sales Specialist at Lowe’s, he is able to utilize his skills for his customers to help them have the best experience possible. One thing that is certainly of vital importance to Victor Cozzone come with the idea that it is vitally important to give back to his community. He believes that everyone who has benefitted from their community should strive to demonstrate appreciation for everything he or she has received. That is one reason she shows such passion when it comes to helping those less fortunate.
For years, Victor served as a volunteer baseball coach for teams in the Lionville Youth Baseball Association in Pennsylvania, but he also has worked as a volunteer member of the board of the Mission to Educate Children with Autism at Downington High School, a cause Victor Cozzone has been involved with for more than a decade. That said, it’s not the only way he gives back. Victor also has played a significant role in numerous programs throughout Chester County that seek to provide funding to poor residents who need help paying heating bills during the bitterly cold Pennsylvania winters. Victor not only donated lots of money, but he also worked to amend the program, so as to get them the help they need even faster. That isn’t the end of his commitment to community. Victor Cozzone also serves on the board of PAAL, which stands for “Preparing Adolescents with Autism for Adult Life.” In operation since 2006, PAAL is a specialty secondary-educational program designed to prepare adolescents between the ages of 14 and 21 who appear on the autism spectrum, to provide them with the tools they need to make it independent, successful adults and allow them to be important participants in the community. |
